Stinky stereotypes or the smell of success?

Generally speaking, sentences that begin with the word “Lady” end badly. This is no exception. The stereotyping and androcentrism are over the top. Let’s hope this is limited to the reporting by NewScientist.com and not coming from the original published in Animal Behaviour.

Hold your nose: Lady rats find the smell of a recently road-tested “stud” more alluring than a sex-starved one.
