Poached and poisoned

Just a quick pointer to this news story about elephant killings in India this week. One animal was killed and mutilated - with tusks and trunk hacked off. The other was apparently poisoned, despite being monitored closely by forest officials who were studying annual migration via a radio collar the animal was wearing.
