Just before the start of the long weekend a shipment of new books arrived. I’m really excited to get started with these, but haven’t even had a chance to add them to LibraryThing or my Facebook bookshelf yet.

I’ve started two of the books: Sciences from below and This is not sufficient. I am enjoying both tremendously, especially the former. Because the entire weekend, indeed the entirety of the last week, has been dominated by trying to soothe a pack of wiener dog that hates fireworks, only a few dozen pages in each. I’m so glad the mayhem is over.
